Voice actress Tomori Kusunoki, known for her role as Llenn in Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, will be singing the ending theme for the second season of the anime. The ending theme, titled “Little Dancer,” will be performed by Tomori Kusunoki as her character Llenn. The Jazzin’ Park unit, which also worked on the first season’s ending theme, will write, compose, and arrange the song.

The second season of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is set to premiere on October 4 on various television channels and will also be available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The returning cast members include Yōko Hikasa as Pitohui, Chinatsu Akasaki as Fukaziroh, and Kazuyuki Okitsu as M.

The anime is directed by Masayuki Sakoi and produced by A-1 Pictures. Yōsuke Kuroda is overseeing the series scripts, and Yoshio Kosakai is the character designer and chief animation director. ReoNa will perform the opening theme song for the new season.

The story follows Karen Kohiruimaki, a college student who enters the virtual world of Gun Gale Online to escape her insecurities about her height. As her avatar Llenn, she meets a player named Pitohui and gets caught up in the intense Squad Jam competition.

The anime is based on the light novel series by Keiichi Sigsawa, a spinoff of Reki Kawahara’s Sword Art Online. The first season of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online premiered in 2018 and was well-received by fans. The English version of the light novel series is being released by Yen Press.
