Crunchyroll has exciting news for anime fans as they will be streaming MAPPA’s original TV anime ZENSHU. The world premiere trailer of the show will be debuted at the industry panel at New York Comic-Con on October 18th at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

The anime is a collaboration between Mitsue Yamasaki, Kimiko Ueno, and MAPPA. Yamasaki is directing the anime, while Ueno is responsible for the script. Sumie Noro serves as the assistant director, Yoshiteru Tsujino handles character concept art, and Kayoko Ishikawa adapts the character designs for animation and serves as the chief animation director. The music for the anime is composed by Yukari Hashimoto.

The story follows Natsuko Hirose, a high school graduate who embarks on a career as an animator. After her talent shines through, she quickly becomes a director with her first anime becoming a massive hit. However, when she struggles to understand the concept of first love for her next project, the movie production comes to a halt.

The anime features a talented cast including Anna Nagase, Kazuki Ura, Rie Kugimiya, Minori Suzuki, and Akio Suyama in leading roles.
