Indie anime Ai no Yakusoku has recently made its debut on YouTube, showcasing the talents of voice actors Sora Amamiya and Aki Toyosaki. Sora Amamiya, known for her roles as Aqua in KonoSuba and Chizuru Mizuhara in Rent-A-Girlfriend, lends her voice to the main female character, a mage. On the other hand, Aki Toyosaki, recognized for her role as Yunyun in KonoSuba and Yui Hirasawa in K-On!, voices the male protagonist Ran, a lost boy who forms a special bond with the mage.

Directed by Tsumori Arato from Studio Harutonari, the 16-minute short features a theme song by Kohana Lam and an insert song by MINA. The production of Ai no Yakusoku was initially self-funded by the staff, but a successful crowdfunding campaign on Campfire helped raise additional funds to enhance the anime’s quality and reach a wider audience. The campaign surpassed its goal of 1 million yen, collecting 1,144,000 yen in total.
