Idea Factory International recently unveiled an exciting new update on the Touhou Spell Carnival game, including an opening movie trailer and details about a Limited Edition release. The Limited Edition package is set to include a collector’s box, figures of Reimu and Marisa, a 56-page hardcover artbook, a 52-track soundtrack, a reversible cover sleeve, and an exclusive trading card.

The game, developed by Compile Heart and Sting, is scheduled for release both digitally and physically in North America on November 19 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. In Europe, fans can look forward to the digital release on the same day, with the physical version hitting shelves on December 3. Additionally, there will be a Digital Deluxe edition available, which includes a digital art book and soundtrack for eager players.

Touhou Spell Carnival transports players to the enchanting realm of Gensokyo, a mystical land where humans and youkai coexist. The story follows Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, as she embarks on a thrilling adventure to uncover the mysteries behind the Spell Carnival festival initiated by Yukari Yakumo. The festival challenges participants to put their Spell Cards to the test in intense battles, prompting Reimu to join the fray and confront the enigmatic Yukari Yakumo.

Players can expect an immersive experience with Japanese audio and text available in English, French, and Spanish (Spain) upon release. The game initially launched in Japan for the same platforms on June 6, following a brief delay from the original April 18 release date.
