Amazon Prime Video is now streaming the second season of the anime Tonbo! in the United States. The show is based on the manga Oi! Tonbo by Ken Kawasaki and Yū Furusawa. The first episode of the second season debuted in Japan on Saturday.

The second season follows Tonbo as she leaves Tokara and embarks on a new golfing journey in Kumamoto. Her life has been rapidly changing ever since she left the island, becoming a high school student and moving to Kumamoto. Now, she’s playing golf with junior golfers at the practice grounds, strategizing with her freewheeling style. A fierce showdown with an experienced golfer named Hinoki is on the horizon, pushing Tonbo to spread her wings even further.

The anime’s main staff is returning for the second season, with new cast members joining the team. The opening theme song “Seven pieces” is performed by the pop duo Sacra e sole, while the ending theme song “It’s time to win” is performed by the jazz-funk trio TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI.

The first season premiered on April 6, and Amazon Prime Video streamed it as it aired. The manga was launched in Weekly Golf Digest in August 2014 by creators Ken Kawasaki and Yū Furusawa.
