The television anime adaptation of Akiharu Tōka’s manga, “The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess,” has revealed its main cast and is set to debut in 2025. The show will feature Yoshino Aoyama as Iana Magnolia, M.A.O as Konoha Magnolia, Shōhei Komatsu as Sol Nemophyra, and Makoto Furukawa as Gilford Dandelion.
The story follows Konoha Satou, who has a dark history from middle school involving a fantasy adventure of love and magic. When her past is at risk of being exposed, she panics and dies in a traffic accident. Upon awakening, she finds herself reincarnated as Iana Magnolia, the villainess from her own dark history.
The manga, serialized in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine since August 2018, has gained popularity with over 1.7 million copies in circulation. Yen Press is publishing the English version of the manga.
