Sega and Ryu ga Gotoku Studio recently announced the development of a new game called Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The game is set to be released worldwide on February 28, 2025, and will be available on various platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

The game will feature Goro Majima as the protagonist, embarking on a pirate adventure in Hawaii. Players will follow Goro’s journey as he leads a band of pirates after losing his memory on a beach. The game will include three main locations: Hawaii, Rich Island, and Madlantis, where players can command a ship and explore different islands.

Pre-order bonuses for the game include the Ichiban Kasuga Pirate Crew & Special Outfit, which adds Ichiban and his pet crawfish Nancy to the player’s crew, along with two of Ichiban’s outfits. Additionally, Yakuza Kiwami will be available for Nintendo Switch on October 24, expanding the game’s reach to a new platform.

In addition to the game release, a six-episode live-action series based on the Like a Dragon game series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. The series will feature Munetaka Aoki as Goro Majima, adding to the excitement surrounding the Yakuza franchise.
