Kadokawa recently announced the main cast for the upcoming anime adaptation of the adult visual novel adventure game Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū. The anime, titled Nukitashi The Animation, will feature a different cast from the original game. The main cast includes Kōhei Yanagi as Junnosuke Tachibana, Minori Ozawa as Hinami Watarai, Shizuka Ishigami as Nanase Katagiri, Rie Okamoto as Misaki Hotori, and Ako Koaki as Asane Tachibana.
In addition to the cast reveal, Kadokawa also shared that there will be a fan meeting event in Akihabara on December 24, with parts of the event streamed live on Media Factory’s YouTube channel. The anime is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama and the series composition and script are handled by Kenta Ihara. The character design is by Kumata and the music is composed by Hakushaku Ebikare, Sasa Ikeki, Umigame, and Kashiko.
The original game, Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū, was released in 2018 and follows the anti-copulation resistance fighters of No Love No Sex in their fight against the Pervert Law on Seiran Island. The game received critical acclaim and won the Best Scenario award at the 2018 Moe Game Awards. The sequel, Nukitashi 2, was released in 2019.
Shiravune released the game in multiple languages, offering it on Windows via the Johren service and Steam. A manga adaptation of the game was also launched in 2020 and serialized in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in 2021.
