Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage Game Introduces KENN as Gundam ZZ’s Judau Ashta
Bandai Namco Entertainment and Sunrise’s Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage smartphone game recently unveiled a new story titled “Crossover UCE,” with voice actor KENN stepping in to voice Judau Ashta, replacing Kazuki Yao. The official announcement explained that KENN took on the role of Judau due to production scheduling conflicts.
The upcoming “Crossover UCE” story in the game, set to release on October 4, will take place on the planet Axis and will feature familiar characters from the Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ series, including Kamille Bidan, Amuro Ray, and now KENN as Judau Ashta. Nobuo Tobita will continue to voice Kamille Bidan, while Tōru Furuya will voice Amuro Ray as before.
Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage originally launched in Japan in November 2021 and expanded to the West for iOS and Android in October 2023.
KENN, known for his role as Zhang Fei God Gundam in the SD Gundam World Sangoku Sōketsuden and SD Gundam World Heroes anime series, most recently portrayed Ojelo Gabel in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury anime.
Kazuki Yao, who previously voiced Judau Ashta in the 1986 Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ anime series and various Gundam OAVs, including the 2001 Gundam Evolve OAV, has now passed the torch to KENN for the upcoming storyline in the Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage game.
