MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE recently performed live the theme song for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular manga Red Blue. The theme song, titled “My Pride,” was created by the members of the hip hop unit MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE specifically for the series. The manga, written by Atsushi Namikiri, follows the story of Aoba Suzuki, a high school student who enters the world of mixed martial arts after a chance encounter with his schoolmate Kenshin Akasawa.
The live-action series boasts a talented cast, including Gaku Sano as Kanenari Tokiwa, Makoto Hasegawa from The Rampage as Sannosuke Iwase, Keito Kimura from Fantastics as Aoba Suzuki, Taiga Tsubaki from IMP as Kenshin Akasawa, Sho Kasamatsu as Wataru Amachi, Eiku Yamashita from ONE N’ ONLY as Kota Tamamatsu, Naru Ōkubo from DXTEEN as Yuga Hazuru, Kaisei Takechi from The Rampage as Ganmaru Nueji, Takato Ōkura from Genin wa Jibun ni Aru as Amu Hiiragi, and Kazuma Sumi from DDT Pro Wrestling as Mamoru Hachiya.
Directed by Takayuki Hayashi and Takeshi Furusawa, with Keiya Tabuchi as the action director and Yushin Okami supervising the MMA sequences, the series promises to deliver thrilling fight scenes and a compelling storyline.
