The second season of the anime “Ishura” has announced five new cast members. Nao Tōyama will voice Linaris the Obsidian, a blood demon living in a mansion in the forest. Daisuke Ono will play Toroa the Awful, a legendary being who steals magic swords. Ayumu Murase will voice Mestelexil the Box of Desperate Knowledge, an invincible demon. Kujira will portray Kiyazuna the Axle, a mechanical demon maker. Megumi Ogata will voice Hiroto the Paradox, a child with great conversation skills.

Previously announced cast members include Mariya Ise, Miku Itō, and Rikiya Koyama. The anime’s first season premiered in Japan and is now streaming worldwide on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. The story follows a group of powerful individuals vying for the title of “One True Hero.”

The series is based on a light novel by Keiso and Kureta, which has been well-received and even won awards. The manga adaptation launched in 2021 in Monthly Shonen Magazine.
