I enjoy highlighting some of my favorite anime series on Dread Central. From the time-loop terror of Higurashi When They Cry to the Final Destination-inspired Another, there’s always something new to discover. Recently, our very own Mary Beth McAndrews had the opportunity to sit down with Aleks Le, the voice actor from Solo Leveling, to discuss the thrilling series that blends modern-day Japan with Dark Souls vibes.

One of the latest sensations to hit the screens is Ninja Kamui, an original anime series created by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment. The show, known for its intense violence and stunning visuals, has quickly climbed the charts on Max, where viewers can stream it now.

The storyline follows a former ninja on a quest for vengeance, joining forces with FBI agents investigating the murder of his wife and son. The trailer alone is enough to draw anyone in, and with Sunghoo Park at the helm, the director behind The God of High School and the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, expectations are high.

Since its debut on Max, Ninja Kamui has been captivating audiences with its brutal action, intricate lore, and impressive animation. Fans have taken to Twitter to express their excitement and praise for the series, with some calling it a must-watch for anime enthusiasts.

What sets Ninja Kamui apart is that it is not based on a manga or light novel series, giving the creators the freedom to explore the story as they see fit. While a second season has not been confirmed yet, the show’s success on Max hints at a possible continuation in the future.

If you haven’t had the chance to dive into Ninja Kamui yet, I highly recommend giving it a watch. The show promises a thrilling ride filled with action, mystery, and unforgettable characters. Share your thoughts on the series with me on Twitter @Chadiscollins, where I’ll be discussing all things anime, including Haikyu!!, for those moments when you need a break from the intense violence.
