The Let This Grieving Soul Retire! anime has unveiled its main promotional video, visual, and additional cast members. The video features the opening theme song “Conflict Tomorrow” by Lezel and the ending theme song “Scream!” by Pmarusama.
The newly announced cast includes Jun Fukuyama as Ark Rodin, Akio Ōtsuka as Gark Welter, and Haruka Michii as Kaina Noss. The anime is set to premiere on October 1 on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and Sun Television.
The story follows Krai Andrey, who, despite his childhood dream of becoming a great treasure hunter, realizes he may not be cut out for the job. As his friends move closer to their dreams, Krai just wants to retire in peace.
The light novel series was originally serialized online and later published in print with illustrations by Chyko. The manga adaptation by Rai Hebino is also available, with Yen Press publishing the English version.
The anime is directed by Masahiro Takata and features Kenshō Ono and Miyu Kubota as the main voice actors. The series promises to bring action, adventure, and a touch of humor to viewers.
