Aniplex recently announced that CloverWorks will be adapting Saka Mikami’s manga, “The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity,” into a television anime set to premiere in 2025. The story follows Rintaro, a student at Chidori High, a school for students with low grades, who meets Kaoruko, a student from the neighboring Kikyo Girls’ High. Despite coming from different worlds, the two form a strong bond, navigating the challenges and obstacles that come their way.
The manga, which was launched in October 2021 on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website, has been well-received, with Kodansha publishing the 13th volume in July. The English version of the manga is being released by Kodansha USA, with the second volume hitting shelves in August.
Fans of the manga can look forward to seeing the story come to life on the small screen in 2025, thanks to the upcoming anime adaptation by CloverWorks.
