Crunchyroll and Adult Swim have announced the cast and characters for the upcoming animated series Blade Runner: Black Lotus, inspired by the iconic Blade Runner film franchise.
Fans will have the opportunity to get a first look at the series and join a panel discussion at the 2021 SDCC@Home event on July 23. The panel will include co-directors Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, executive producer Joseph Chou, voice director Wes Gleason, creative director Jason Demarco, and voice actress Jessica Henwick.
The series will feature a talented English and Japanese voice cast, with characters like Elle, a female replicant, played by Jessica Henwick in English and Arisa Shida in Japanese. Other characters include Joseph, Alani Davis, Niander Wallace Sr and Jr, Marlowe, Josephine Grant, Earl Grant, Doc Badger, Senator Bannister, Doctor M, and Hooper, each played by a talented actor in both English and Japanese.
Blade Runner: Dark Lotus is set to premiere on Adult Swim later this year, bringing the futuristic world of Blade Runner to life in animated form.
