Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Game’s ‘Future Saga’ Chapter 2 DLC Trailer Reveals Two New Characters

Bandai Namco Entertainment America recently released a new trailer for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game, teasing the upcoming Chapter 2 of the Future Saga DLC. The trailer introduces two new characters, Belmod and Jiren (Full Power, Ultra Supervillain), who will be featured in the DLC.

Expanding on the DLC, the first chapter already included Broly (Restrained) when it was released on May 24. The Future Saga DLC is set to span four chapters in total and will also feature characters like Vegeta (Super Saiyan God), Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé), Android 18 (DB Super), and Videl (DB Super). Additionally, the Extra Missions included in the DLC will cover story arcs such as the Broly Arc, the Goku Black Arc, and the Vegeta Arc.

The game was initially launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 24, with a PS5 release in Japan on May 23. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was originally released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe back in October 2016, followed by a PS4 release in Japan in November 2016. The game later made its way to the Nintendo Switch in Japan and the West in September 2017, and was also released on Google’s now-defunct Stadia gaming platform in December 2019.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s YouTube channel provided the source for the latest trailer, showcasing the new characters and content coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It’s worth noting that Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings Inc., holds a minority stake in Anime News Network Inc.

With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continuing to expand its roster and content through DLC updates, fans of the franchise can look forward to experiencing new story arcs and characters in the popular action-packed game.
