Atsumi Tanezaki has been announced as the newest addition to the cast of the anime adaptation of Saka and Chorefuji’s Once Upon a Witch’s Death light novels. Known for her role as Juno in BEASTARS, Tanezaki will be voicing a character known as the “Mysterious Girl” who is seen alongside Meg in the fourth situation visual.

The anime adaptation of Once Upon a Witch’s Death is scheduled to premiere in 2025. The main cast includes Yoshino Aoyama as Meg Raspberry, Yoshiko Sakakibara as Faust, Miharu Hanai as Carbuncle, and Aina Suzuki as Shirofukuro.

Directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa, with series composition by Keiichirou Ohchi and character designs by Yukishizuku, the anime is being produced by EMT Squared.
