AQUARION Myth of Emotions Anime Cast Revealed in First Character Trailer
The AQUARION Myth of Emotions anime, which was previously announced as the next installment in the series, has unveiled its first character visual and main key visual. These visuals give us a glimpse of what to expect from the project. The main cast members have been announced, with Yumiri Hanamori taking on the role of Sakko Otori, Azumi Waki portraying Momohime Amaha, Makoto Koichi as Rimiya Tsukishiro, Aki Toyosaki playing Toshi Hatano, and Konomi Kohara as Sayo Ichiki. You can meet the main cast in the video provided.
In addition to the cast, Crunchyroll has revealed that they will be streaming the series as it airs. The main staff members working on the project include Shoji Kawamori as the original work supervisor and Aquarion designer, Kenji Itoso as the director, Sadayuki Murai as the scriptwriter, Masashi Kudo as the character designer, and Takashi Ohmama and Shu Kanematsu as the music composers.
Set on Enoshima Island, a popular tourist destination in Kanagawa Prefecture, Aquarion: Myth of Emotions was first announced in March 2023. The series follows the original Aquarion/Genesis of Aquarion series, which was created by Kawamori and first aired in 2005. It was later followed by Aquarion Evol in 2012 and Aquarion Logos in 2015.
According to Funimation, the original series revolves around the Shadow Angels invading after 12,000 years of slumber, leaving humanity in a state of fear and alien dominance. However, there is a glimmer of hope in the form of the Mechanical Angel Aquarion.
