The first character PV trailer has been released for the upcoming I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time TV anime series, highlighting the main heroine Alina Clover. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in January 2025.

Directed by Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (Clockwork Planet) and with Misuzu Chiba (Aikatsu Planet!) as the series screenwriter, the anime features character designers Yoshihiro Nagata (Shine Post) and Shinichi Machida (Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku e). CloverWorks is in charge of the animation production, with Sakura Create providing production cooperation.

The main voice cast for the anime includes Rie Takahashi as Alina Clover, Kentaro Kumagai as Jade Scrade, Aoi Koga as Lululee Ashford, Rikuya Yasuda as Lowe Losblender, and Yu Serizawa as Laila.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime in various countries and territories outside of Japan, such as North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Based on the adventure fantasy light novel series by Mato Kousaka and illustrated by Gao, the anime adaptation won the gold prize at the 27th Dengeki Shousetsu Taishou. The light novels were first published by ASCII Media Works under the Dengeki Bunko imprint on March 10, 2021, and have since released eight volumes as of August 2024. Additionally, the series inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Suzu Yuki, which debuted on June 18, 2021.

Yen Press releases the English versions of the light novels and manga, describing the general synopsis as follows: Alina Clover becomes a receptionist for the Adventurers Guild in hopes of a better life. However, her job turns into an overtime nightmare when adventurers struggle to clear dungeons. To avoid a mountain of paperwork, Alina takes matters into her own hands by defeating monsters herself. Now, she must keep her activities a secret to maintain her job.
