Bandai Namco Entertainment America recently shared a System Trailer for their upcoming game, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. This game, set to launch in early 2025 for PS5/4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, offers an exciting mix of single-player and online modes. Players can look forward to engaging in Story Mode, Co-op Quests, Boss Raids, and Free Roam adventures.
The game is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 4 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC release on Steam. In Japan, the game will launch on October 3 for consoles and October 4 for PC. Additionally, players can opt for a Deluxe Edition, which includes a DLC character pass and costume set, or a Premium Edition that offers even more perks like an additional costume, digital art book, digital soundtrack, and early access three days before the official release. Moreover, the Premium Edition includes a bonus 2D survival game called “Kirito the Hero.”
Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream introduces a new system in the world of Alfheim Online, where a malfunction causes a convergence of all worlds and timelines. This unique setting challenges Kirito and other players to navigate through uncharted territory, where enemies become allies, past characters return, and unlikely alliances are formed to survive the dangers of this unknown world. The game also boasts co-op raids that can accommodate up to 20 players.
