A new anime titled “Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!” is set to premiere in April 2025, following the announcement made last month. This anime is based on Kanata Hoshi’s light novel series of the same name and has revealed its main cast members and the timing of the premiere. Kanna Nakamura will be playing the lead role of Melphiera Marchalrayd, and Taito Ban will be portraying Aristide Roger de Galbraith. AVAM will be performing the opening song for the anime.
In addition to the exciting news about the premiere, a new promo for the ninth volume of Chika Mizube’s manga adaptation has been released. This promo includes a glimpse of the lead voice cast members in action. Two new commemorative illustrations have also been shared, one by Peperon and the other by Chika Mizube.
“Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!” first debuted on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2019 and was later adapted into a manga by Chika Mizube, which premiered on pixiv’s Palcy manga app in 2021. The manga is available in English through Kodansha USA. The series follows the story of Melphiera, an earl’s daughter who is ostracized by the nobility due to rumors about her love for monster-based cuisine. When she is attacked by a monster at a party, she is rescued by Aristide of Galbraith, known as the “Blood-Mad Duke.” As their relationship develops, they discover shared interests and face challenges together in a romantic fantasy setting filled with love, battles, and gourmet cuisine.
