In exciting news for anime fans, the premiere date for the upcoming series From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! has been revealed. The anime, based on the manga by Michiro Ueyama, also known as Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san, is set to debut in Japan on January 9, 2025.
Accompanying this announcement is a brand new trailer, along with the introduction of three new cast members and a fresh key visual. Let’s take a closer look at the additions to the cast:

The plot of the series revolves around Kenzaboro Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old man who finds himself reincarnated in a world reminiscent of an otome game as a villainess named Grace. The anime is directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi, with Shingo Irie handling series composition, Haruka Matsunae in charge of character designs, Yuki Miyamoto overseeing monster designs, and Ryo Hirata managing prop designs. The music for the series is composed by Natsumi Tabuchi, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, Reiko Abe, and Kaho Sawada, with production by Ajia-do Animation Works.
Originally serialized in Shonen Gahosha’s Young King Ours GH seinen manga magazine starting from March 2020, the manga adaptation of From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! will be available for streaming on HIDIVE as it airs.
