Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts III manga, based on the popular game, is coming to an exciting conclusion in the next chapter. The manga, created by Shiro Amano, made its debut on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website in April 2019 with the prologue chapter, followed by the first chapter in June of the same year. The third compiled volume of the manga was released by Square Enix in March 2023.

Yen Press had previously released an English version of the manga, but has since stopped publication after the first two volumes. The Kingdom Hearts III game, which the manga is based on, was released by Square Enix in January 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It quickly became the fastest-selling title in the franchise’s history, shipping over 5 million copies worldwide by February 2019. The game also received the “Re Mind” DLC in January 2020.

Currently, Square Enix is working on the development of Kingdom Hearts IV. In addition, the company released Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind games for Nintendo Switch via cloud in February 2023, followed by a PC release on Steam in June of the same year. These games are also available as a bundle called Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece.
