The live-action film adaptation of Yui Tamura’s manga “Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days” released a clip showcasing a scene where the protagonist Yano is seen reading a shōjo manga. The film is set to premiere on November 15, featuring Yūsei Yagi as Tsuyoshi Yano, Anji Ikehata as Kiyoko Yoshida, and Kaito Nakamura as Yūdai Hashiba.
Directed by Takehiko Shinjō, the movie follows the story of Tsuyoshi Yano, a high school boy plagued by bad luck, and Kiyoko Yoshida, a classmate who worries about him. As the manga unfolds, Yoshida begins to observe Yano’s daily struggles and decides to support him through his challenging times.
The original manga was first serialized on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in June 2021 and is still ongoing. With the eighth volume already released and the ninth volume scheduled for November 13, the series has gained popularity among readers. Additionally, an anime adaptation is also in the works.
