Sakamoto Days fans have a lot to be excited about this December as a new spinoff novel is set to be released by Shueisha. Titled Sakamoto Days Koroshiya Blues (Sakamoto Days: Assassin Blues), the novel is written by Renka Misaki, who also wrote the first novel adaptation, Sakamoto Days Koroshiya no Method (Sakamoto Days: Assassin’s Method). Fans can expect exclusive episodes in this new spinoff novel.
The original manga series, which first started with a one-shot in Jump Giga in December 2019 before launching in Jump in November 2020, will be releasing its 19th collected volume in Japan on November 1 of this year. VIZ Media is responsible for publishing the Sakamoto Days manga and describes the story as follows:
The story follows Sakamoto, who has been living a peaceful life with his family after leaving the underworld and running a neighborhood store. However, his peaceful life is disrupted when a figure from his past approaches him with an offer he cannot refuse: return to the world of assassins or face certain death.
