Koei Tecmo recently released the opening movie for Fairy Tail 2, the sequel to the popular role-playing game. The game is set to launch on December 13 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, with a PC release on December 11 via Steam. Digital pre-orders for the game are now available.
Fans can look forward to special editions of the game, including the “Fairy Tail 2 Guild Box” edition, which comes with exclusive items such as a cloth poster, artbook, soundtrack CD, and more. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe edition offers bonus outfits and in-game items for players to enjoy.
In Fairy Tail 2, players will once again join Natsu, Lucy, and other guild members as they navigate the Alvarez Empire Arc. The game will feature new character stories and an original storyline called “Key to Hidden Secrets,” which explores events after the final battle in the series.
The first Fairy Tail RPG was released in 2020 and was well-received by fans. Based on Hiro Mashima’s popular manga series, Fairy Tail follows the adventures of the Fairy Tail guild and has spawned multiple anime adaptations, films, and spinoff manga series.
