Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis Manga Makes a Comeback After 4 Years
Fans of the Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis manga series have something to look forward to this November. The manga, which has been on hiatus for over 4 years, is finally set to return. Creators Hiroyuki Yatsu and Hideki Tsuji announced that the series will resume in Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon with the January 2025 issue, hitting the shelves on November 25, 2024.
Originally starting in October 2017, Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis continues the story from the Fist of the Blue Sky manga. The anime adaptation of the series has seen two successful seasons so far. Tsuji mentioned that a significant portion of the remaining manga has already been drafted, indicating that progress has been made during the hiatus period.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Crunchyroll provides a brief overview of the plot. Set in the 1930s in Shanghai, a city where life is cheap, the story follows the power struggle between the Green Gang and the Red Flower Gang. As the Green Gang emerges victorious, key characters like Kasumi Kenshiro and Yu-Ling take a breather from the ongoing conflict. Meanwhile, in Harbin, Liu Fei-yan and Erika Arendt embark on a mission to Shanghai, where they are set to meet French intelligence officer Charles de Guise.
With the return of Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis on the horizon, fans can once again dive into the action-packed world of the manga. Stay tuned for the upcoming release in November and prepare to follow the adventures of your favorite characters as the story unfolds once more.
