Azuki and Dentsu recently unveiled the teaser for the second episode of the Garden Anthology Anime series, titled “Fractured Reflections.” The story follows two sisters, Shao and Raizan, who grow up together in the Alley but are separated when Raizan disappears. Shao embarks on a journey to find her missing sister, eventually stumbling upon a mysterious torii gate that leads her into the unknown world of the Garden.
The episode is directed by Yukio Takatsu, known for his work on popular series like Naruto Shippūden and the Monogatari series. Taku Kishimoto, the mastermind behind scripts for shows like Haikyu!! and 91 Days, is overseeing the series scripts. Kazuto Nakazawa, recognized for his work on Samurai Champloo and Kill Bill, is responsible for character designs. The production is handled by Qzil.la and IMAGICA Infos, with Gorō Taniguchi serving as the creative producer.
The first episode of the series, titled “The Waiting Man,” premiered on April 30th. Azuki, a Web3 anime-styled brand based in Los Angeles, aims to tell stories that blend art, technology, and culture. It is essential to note that Azuki is not related to the digital manga publisher of the same name.
Additionally, Japanese advertising firm Dentsu established Dentsu Anime Solutions to focus on selling and licensing anime to both local and international broadcasters and distributors. This new subsidiary aims to meet the growing market demand for anime content and provide solutions for client companies in Japan and beyond, building on Dentsu’s existing animation division’s expertise in producing animation works.
