The TV anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima’s light novel series, “I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!” is set to premiere next April. The story follows Liam, who, after being reborn into a ruling family of an interstellar empire, tries to live for himself by taking what he wants. However, despite his efforts to become a tyrant, his decisions lead to peace and prosperity for the empire, making him more popular.
The anime will be directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa and feature Natsuki Hanae as Liam, Reina Ueda as Amagi, and Takehito Koyasu as Guide. The series composition and script will be handled by Katsuhiko Takayama, with character design by Kazuya Morimae.
The manga adaptation of the series is also being released by Seven Seas, along with a spinoff titled “I’m the Heroic Knight of an Intergalactic Empire!” The spinoff, which debuted in December 2022, has already received a manga adaptation by Jyu Ishiguchi.
Fans of the light novel series can look forward to the premiere of the TV anime next April, which will air on the “Animazing” programming block on Japan’s ABC TV, TV Asahi, and 22 other channels. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new anime adaptation!
