Nintendo recently announced a playtest for their new Nintendo Switch Online service, calling for participants to join. The playtest program is scheduled to run from October 23 to November 5, and is aimed at testing a new feature for the online service. Participants must have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Pack membership and be at least 18 years old. The recruitment period for the playtest is from October 10 to October 15, but applications have closed early in the U.S. due to reaching the participant limit.

In order to apply for the playtest, users must have an active membership and be registered in one of the eligible countries. Participants will need to download exclusive software onto their Nintendo Switch to take part in the playtest. Participants in Japan will be chosen via raffle if there are many applicants, while participants from other countries will be chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis. The playtest is expected to accommodate up to 10,000 participants.

This opportunity allows users to get a sneak peek at the new features coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service and provide valuable feedback to the company. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting playtest program from Nintendo.
