Kadokawa recently announced during a radio program recording for the KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! anime that KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! 3, the third television season of the main anime, will be getting a new OVA. The OVA was revealed during a special part of the radio program, and fans can watch the announcement on YouTube.
The third season of KonoSuba premiered on April 10 and ran for 11 episodes. It was streamed by Crunchyroll with an English dub available. The series was directed by Yujiro Abe, with Takaomi Kanasaki serving as the chief director. The series scripts were handled by Makoto Uezu, and the character design was done by Koichi Kikuta. The music was composed by Masato Kōda, with Machico performing the opening theme song “Growing Up,” and the main cast performing the ending theme song “Ano Hi no Mama no Bokura.”
The first season of KonoSuba aired in January 2016, followed by the second season in January 2017. The anime film, KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World– Legend of Crimson, premiered in Japan in August 2019. The spinoff novel series, Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, had its television anime adaptation in April 2023.
