Dark Horse Books will be releasing The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X-2021 book in English on April 22. This artbook for the Bravely Default II game will showcase concept art from the game along with commentary from its creators. Fans can expect to delve into the world of Excillant through over 300 pages of character designs, landscapes, and marketing art, all accompanied by developer insights published in English for the first time.

The Bravely Default II game initially launched for the Nintendo Switch in February 2021 and later made its way to PC via Steam in September 2021. This upcoming artbook follows the release of The Art of Bravely Default book in English back in March 2019.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Square Enix introduced the original Bravely Default: Flying Fairy game for the Nintendo 3DS in October 2012. It was later enhanced and re-released as Bravely Default: For the Sequel in Japan in December 2013 and North America in February 2014. The sequel, Bravely Second: End Layer, followed, launching in Japan in April 2015, Europe in February 2016, and North America in April 2016.

Silicon Studio, the developer behind the main Bravely Default games, underwent a restructuring in June 2018, establishing Creek and River as a subsidiary to manage game development and operations. The mobile game Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights debuted in Japan in January 2022 but concluded its service in February 2023.

Fans of the Bravely Default series and art enthusiasts alike can look forward to immersing themselves in the creative process behind the beloved game with the upcoming release of The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X-2021 book.
