Aniplex recently released a teaser trailer for the upcoming anime film “Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: Walpurgisnacht: Rising-“. The teaser introduces new characters and provides a glimpse into the storyline of the sequel to the popular franchise. Originally scheduled to premiere in Japan in winter 2024, the film has been delayed to winter 2025.
Directed by Yukihiro Miyamoto, the film will feature a returning staff from the original series, including creators Magica Quartet, chief director Akiyuki Simbo, and scriptwriter Gen Urobuchi. The film’s cast will also include familiar voices such as Aoi Yūki as Madoka Kaname, Chiwa Saitō as Homura Akemi, and more.
