The upcoming television anime adaptation of Aya Hirakawa’s romantic comedy manga, Mikadono San Shimai wa Angai, Choroi (The Three Mikadono Sisters are Surprisingly Easy), has been announced to debut in 2025. The announcement was made during the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event, where a teaser video and visual for the anime were revealed.

Directed by Tadahito Matsubayashi and produced by P.A. Works, the anime will follow the story of Yū Ayase, the son of Subaru Ayase. Yū, who seems to have inherited only his mother’s beauty, enrolls in a high-class school and moves into the house of his mother’s friend. There, he starts living with the three Mikadono sisters, each talented in their own right but also with their own vulnerabilities.

The manga, originally serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine starting in December 2021, will release its 11th volume on October 18th. The series has gained popularity for its charming characters and comedic situations, making it a highly anticipated anime adaptation.
