The Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event recently announced that the manga “May I Ask for One Final Thing?” will be adapted into a television anime set to air in 2025. Written by Nana Ōtori and illustrated by Sora Hoonoki, this manga will be brought to life on screen for fans to enjoy. The series will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll in various regions globally.

The story follows Scarlet, whose engagement is abruptly called off by her fiancé Kyle during a ball. Falsely accused of being a bully, Scarlet faces harsh judgment and is labeled a “Villainess” by society. Tired of enduring mistreatment from Kyle, she decides to seek revenge by asking for one final favor – to punch him in the face. Thus begins Scarlet’s journey of retribution against Kyle and his allies, showcasing her strength and determination in a fantasy setting.

The anime adaptation will be directed by Kazuya Sakamoto and produced by LIDEN FILMS with main production at LIDEN FILMS Kyoto Studio. Deko Akao will oversee the series scripts, Eriko Haga will design the characters, and Hinako Tsubakiyama will compose the music. Asami Seto will take on the role of Scarlet, bringing the character to life on screen. The manga, based on an original web novel by Otori, has garnered attention for its unique storyline and captivating characters.
