A new television anime adaptation of Mai Tanaka’s manga “A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!” has announced two new cast members. Gakuto Kajiwara will play Amaaki Abe, Haruaki’s twin brother, and Ryōhei Kimura will voice Isaburō Ebisu, a seemingly well-mannered teacher with hidden secrets. The anime is set to premiere on October 8 on ABEMA, d Anime Store, and Tokyo MX, followed by ABC TV on October 9 and BS Asahi on October 13, with a two-cours run.

The main cast includes Ryota Ohsaka, Ryōta Suzuki, Jun Fukuyama, and others, with an advance screening of the first two episodes planned for October 5 at Shinjuku Wald 9 theater in Tokyo. The anime is directed by Katsumi Ono, with Deko Akao handling series scripts and Natsuki designing the characters. Music group Four Eight 48 performs the opening theme, while Yuika sings the ending theme.

The manga, published by Square Enix, follows rookie teacher Haruaki Abe as he navigates a school full of mischievous monsters, trying to maintain control over his unruly students. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English, with the 15th volume recently published. The 17th compiled book volume is set to release on September 27.

The series promises a mix of comedy and supernatural elements, making it an exciting watch for fans of the manga and new viewers alike.
