During the “LEVEL5 VISION 2024 TO THE WORLD’S CHILDREN” online event, Level 5 unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time game for Nintendo Switch. The trailer not only showcased the upcoming game but also revealed that fans can expect its release in April 2025. Excitement is building among gamers as they eagerly anticipate the new features and gameplay elements that will be introduced in this latest installment.

The video preview offered a glimpse into the expansive open-world exploration that players can look forward to in Fantasy Life i. In addition to the vast world awaiting exploration, the trailer also highlighted the Quick Life Change feature, which allows players to seamlessly switch between different in-game professions. Furthermore, multiplayer capabilities were showcased, hinting at a more immersive and engaging gaming experience for players to enjoy with friends.

Originally slated for release in 2023, Fantasy Life i faced several delays, with its launch pushed back to this summer before being rescheduled for October 10. However, the latest announcement sets the release date for April 2025, much to the delight of fans who have been eagerly awaiting the game’s arrival.

Set on the enchanting Mysteria Island, Fantasy Life i continues the tradition of allowing players to create their own avatars and engage in various activities such as battling, gathering resources, and crafting items. The game features a diverse range of in-game professions, known as Lives, including roles like paladin, woodcutter, and cook. Players will have the opportunity to travel between the past and present within the game to unravel the mysteries of the island, adding an exciting dimension to the gameplay.

The first game in the Fantasy Life series, Fantasy Life, was released for the Nintendo 3DS in North America in October 2014, following its initial launch in Japan in 2012. The game garnered popularity for its engaging gameplay and charming world, captivating players with its unique blend of role-playing elements and life simulation mechanics.

Level 5 initially announced Fantasy Life Online as Fantasy Life 2: Futatsu no Tsuki to Kamisama no Mura (Fantasy Life 2 Twin Moons and the Sacred Village) in 2015. After a closed beta in July 2016, the title was changed to Fantasy Life Online in October 2016, with a planned release in 2016. However, the game faced multiple delays before finally being released in July 2018. While the game enjoyed global success after its release by Boltrend Games in December 2021, it eventually ceased operations in Japan in December 2021 and worldwide in February 2023.

As fans eagerly await the release of Fantasy Life i in April 2025, the trailer has provided a tantalizing glimpse into the exciting new features and gameplay experiences that await players on Mysteria Island. With its promise of a rich and immersive gaming world, Fantasy Life i is poised to captivate both new and returning players with its blend of exploration, crafting, and engaging storytelling.
