The live-action series adaptation of the popular manga “My Dress-Up Darling” has announced four new cast members. The series, set to premiere on October 8, will feature Akana Ikeda as Sajuna Inui, Kokoro Toyoshima as Shinju Inui, Daichi Shiozaki as Chitose Amano, and Meikyō Yamada as Kaoru Gojō. These new additions join the previously announced cast members Iko Nagase and Kōta Nomura.

Directed by Kōji Shintoku and written by Satoko Okazaki, the series promises to bring the beloved story of Wakana Gojō and Marin Kitagawa to life. The manga, originally published in Young Gangan magazine, follows the journey of Wakana, a doll-artisan hopeful who finds solace in the world of cosplay after a childhood incident leaves him isolated. When Marin, a popular and outgoing classmate, discovers Wakana’s talent for sewing and crafting, she invites him to join her in the world of cosplay, leading to new adventures and friendships.

The manga has been well-received by fans and has already inspired a successful anime adaptation.
