The live-action film adaptation of Yui Tamura’s manga “Mr. Yano’s ordinary days” has released a new teaser trailer and updated poster visual, showcasing more cast members and an insert song by Travis Japan called “Staying with you.”

The newly announced cast members include Mizuho Shiromiya as Izumi, Ria Niinuma as Mei, Keigo Itō as Tanaka, and Ayame Tsutsui as Okamoto. The film is set to premiere on November 15.

In the film, Yūsei Yagi stars as Tsuyoshi Yano, the unlucky high school boy, with Anji Ikehata playing Kiyoko Yoshida and Kaito Nakamura as Yūdai Hashiba. Directed by Takehiko Shinjō, with a script by Noriaki Sugihara, Kei Watanabe, and Hajime Ibuki, and music by Nobuaki Nobusawa.

The manga, which follows the comedic and unlucky daily life of Yano and the classmate Yoshida who worries about him, started in June 2021 on Kodansha’s Comic Days website. The seventh volume was published on December 14.

Along with the live-action film, an anime adaptation of the manga is also in the works. Fans can look forward to seeing more of Yano’s misadventures on the big screen and in animated form in the near future.
