Magilumiere Co. Ltd. Anime Casts Kaori Ishihara and Kikuko Inoue
In some exciting news, the anime adaptation of Sekka Iwata and Yū Aoki’s Magilumiere Co. Ltd. manga has announced two new cast members. Kaori Ishihara will be voicing Lily Aoi, a magical girl and the poster girl for the Miyakodō company. Joining her is Kikuko Inoue, who will be portraying Miyako Asō, the president of Miyakodō.
The anime is set to premiere in Japan on October 4, airing on NTV’s “Friday Anime Night” block. It will also be available for streaming globally on Amazon Prime Video starting on October 5. The story follows Kana Sakuragi, a female college student who gets involved in the world of magical girls while struggling with job hunting.
The series boasts a talented cast, including Fairouz Ai, Yumiri Hanamori, Rikiya Koyama, Daiki Yamashita, Ryota Ohsaka, Chika Anzai, and Akira Ishida. The anime is directed by Masahiro Hiraoka and produced by Moe and J.C. Staff, with Shingo Nagai supervising and writing the scripts.
Fans of the manga, which is published in English by Viz Media and MANGA Plus, can look forward to the 14th compiled volume coming out on October 4. The story revolves around the unique profession of “Magical Girl,” who are tasked with exterminating a type of natural disaster called “Kaii.” Kana Sakuragi’s journey into this world promises to be an intriguing one.
