The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman who has now retired, married, and become a father. However, his peaceful life is disrupted when he must protect his family from danger. The series promises a unique blend of action and comedy.
The main voice cast includes Tomokazu Sugita as Taro Sakamoto, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura, Ayane Sakura as Lu Shaotang, Nao Tōyama as Aoi Sakamoto, and Ryōta Suzuki as Heisuke Mashimo. These talented actors bring the characters to life and add depth to the story.
Yuuto Suzuki’s manga, which the anime is based on, first debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in November 2020. The series has garnered popularity and has been well-received by fans. Viz Media and MANGA Plus have made the manga available in English digitally, with Viz Media also releasing print editions.
In addition to the anime adaptation, a novel based on the manga was released in April 2022, further expanding the world of Sakamoto Days.
