A new PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming first part of the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! two-part compilation film. The first film is set to premiere in Japan on September 27, 2024.
In addition to that, the second film titled Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta & FILM LIVE is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2024. Fans can expect new footage in both films, with the second installment also featuring new “FILM LIVE” content.
The original BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! TV anime series aired from June 2023 to September 2023, consisting of 13 episodes. The series was directed by Kodai Kakimoto, known for his work on BanG Dream! 2nd Season and 3rd Season, while Yuniko Ayana served as the series screenwriter and scriptwriter. The animation production was handled by Sanzigen as part of Bushiroad’s BanG Dream! music-based mixed-media project.
Exciting news for fans, as a sequel series titled BanG Dream! Ave Mujica is tentatively planned for a premiere in January 2025.
For those who missed the series, Crunchyroll streamed BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! worldwide, except for Japan. The show follows the story of Anon, a new student at Haneoka Girls’ Academy, who decides to start a band in order to fit in. She befriends Tomori, a fellow misfit at the school, and together they embark on a journey of friendship and music.
