The character video for Halkara from the anime “I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2” was recently revealed on the official website. The second season of the anime is set to debut in 2025, with some changes in the staff, including a new director and animation studio.

The story follows a powerful girl who, after dying from overwork in the real world, is reincarnated as an immortal witch. She spends 300 years living a relaxing life, but eventually reaches level 99 due to her experience points from killing slimes. As rumors of the level 99 witch spread, she encounters curious adventurers, duelist dragons, and even a monster girl who sees her as a mother.

The light novel series, written by Kisetsu Morita, originally debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2016 and has since been adapted into a manga series. The first season of the anime premiered in 2021, and Crunchyroll streamed both the subbed and dubbed versions.

Yen Press is releasing the novel series and its spinoff in English, along with the manga adaptations. The series has gained popularity and received positive reviews, ranking in the top ten of the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! guidebook in 2019.

Fans of the series can look forward to the upcoming second season, which promises to continue the adventures and humor of the quirky and powerful witch protagonist. Stay tuned for more updates on the release and additional character videos as the premiere date approaches.
