Level 5 recently unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time game for the Nintendo Switch. The trailer, which was shown during the “LEVEL5 VISION 2024 TO THE WORLD’S CHILDREN” online event, announced that the game is set to be released in April 2025. This comes after the game faced delays, initially planned for 2023, then for the summer, and most recently scheduled for October 10 before being postponed indefinitely.

The game is set on Mysteria Island, where players can create their own avatars and engage in activities such as battling, gathering, and crafting. Players can choose from various in-game professions, known as Lives, including paladin, woodcutter, and cook. One of the unique features of the game is the ability to travel between the past and present to uncover the mysteries of the island.

Fantasy Life i is a continuation of the popular Fantasy Life series, with the first game releasing on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2012 and later in North America in 2014. Level 5 introduced Fantasy Life Online, initially titled Fantasy Life 2: Twin Moons and the Sacred Village, in 2015. The game underwent several delays before its eventual release in July 2018. Despite its initial success, the game ended its service in Japan in December 2021 and globally in February 2023.

Fans of the Fantasy Life series can look forward to the new installment on the Nintendo Switch, which promises exciting gameplay elements such as large open-world exploration, Quick Life Change mechanics, and multiplayer features. The trailer gives players a glimpse of what to expect when the game finally launches in April 2025, offering a blend of adventure, customization, and mystery on Mysteria Island. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches.
