Aniplex recently released a new animated video to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime. The video features classic scenes from the series animated in the new Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 – The Conflict anime style. This special video was first aired during The Conflict’s television premiere.
The 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime also influenced the development of the Bleach: Rebirth of Souls 3D arena fighting game. A visual and accompanying video were previously released to commemorate the anniversary.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 – The Conflict made its debut on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on October 5 at 11:00 p.m. JST. The opening theme song “Kotoba ni Sezu Tomo” (Even if You Don’t Say It) is performed by SIX LOUNGE, while the ending theme song “Monochrome” is performed by suisoh. Aniplex started streaming the opening sequence without credits after its television premiere.
The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime’s first cour premiered in October 2022 and concluded in December 2022 with a one-hour special combining the 12th and 13th episodes. Viz Media is streaming the anime on Hulu in the U.S., and it is available on Disney+ internationally. Ani-One Asia is streaming the series in many Asian countries. The anime’s second cour premiered in the U.S. on Hulu, in Latin America on Star+, and in select other countries on Disney+ in July 2023.
The anime will run for four cours with breaks in between, covering the remaining content of the original manga up to its conclusion. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc, the final arc of the manga, spans volumes 55-74.
