The Dragon Ball Daima anime recently revealed 12 cast members for the “Mini” versions of characters in the series. The Japanese voice cast includes well-known names such as Mai Nakahara as Mini Bulma, Yūdai Mino as Mini Vegeta, and Tomohiro Yamaguchi as Mini Piccolo, among others. The anime’s website also shared character designs for these Mini versions of the characters.

In the English dub, Stephanie Nadolny, known for her role as young Goku in the original English dubs, will be reprising her role. Aaron Dismuke and Monica Rial are also part of the English voice cast. Toei Animation and Fathom Events will be screening the world premiere of the English dub for the first three episodes of the series in U.S. theaters on November 10-12.

The Dragon Ball Daima anime premiered on October 11 on Fuji TV and is also available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix. The series features a unique plotline where characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma become younger than usual. This concept differs from the Dragon Ball GT anime, where Goku reverts to a child form. The title “Daima” does not have a direct translation, but it could be interpreted as “Evil” in English.

The series is helmed by notable industry professionals, with Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki serving as series directors, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru adapting Akira Toriyama’s character designs, and Yuuko Kakihara supervising and writing the scripts. Akira Toriyama himself is credited for the story and character designs, with Akio Iyoku as an executive producer.

The opening theme song “Jaka Jaan” is performed by Zedd feat. C&K, while the ending theme song “Nakama” is performed by ZEDD feat. Ai, with lyrics by singer-songwriter Ai. The anime promises to bring a fresh take on the beloved Dragon Ball franchise, offering fans a new and exciting storyline to follow.

With a star-studded cast and a unique premise, the Dragon Ball Daima anime is set to captivate audiences with its Mini versions of iconic characters and intriguing storytelling. Fans of the Dragon Ball series are in for a treat with this latest addition to the franchise.
